saving a lost litten

this cute little kitten is staying with me why I find her a new home. I have tried to find the owners but no one has responded to my notices left around town. She is the sweetest little thing. As you can see, she loves my sewing box and bra, my little dog wants to mother her, but my poor godson doesnt know what she is and is very wary of going near her.

folk art lessons

I have always want to have professional lessons in decorative painting and folkart. Whilst I was in WA I was able to spend the day with Artist/teacher Wendy Groves..She is amazing. This is my first peice that I did after spending the day with Wendy. Mind you I have dabbled for years and tried to paint from books. Wendy has made it all make sense. Now I just have to practise, practise, practise

Aquarium

These are some of the photos I took when holidaying in Western Australia. These are from the Aquarium at Perth. the colours are amazing. I forgot to reset the date when the batteries went flat so all my recent photos had a 2005 date on them. A lesson well learnt. Sadly my mother inlaw passed away whilst I was in Western Australia and I returned home.

Its been a while since I have posted and so much has happened. Sadly my beautiful mother inlaw Alma passed away on rememberance day. It was a huge blow to her family and everyone is feeling the loss and sadness. I miss her calls and advise. She was so knowledgable about so many things. Gardening, cooking and daily life are just a few things that I would jump on the phone to ask nana (Alma) about. A large part of my garden comes from cuttings she would bring me when she visited Tennant Creek.
