more embroidery











Things are moving at the Green ones house.






My bug has returned. Quilting bug that is. Ive been sewing, quilting and embroidering like mad...ufo's are getting turned out....yeh, and lots of new things are happening. I have 4 partly made bags on the go and 2 table runners with matching coasters of course but I will save them for another post when they are finished. For today here is a look at my articles made with my new Janome Embroidery machine. I was so lucky to find it on ebay and won it rather cheap. The bibs and burp clothes I made myself

monogrammed pillow sham


I have started to make some monogrammed pillow shams for my bed and at the same time teach my self to thread paint.Using varigated thread has given an amazing highlighted lift to the thread painting. I will post the finished product when Im finished

manicure set



This is another little embroidery project that I completed from a magazine. My friend Janelle and I purchased some cheap manicure sets and made these up for family and friends for christmas 2005. Most we personalised with the receivers names.


This lovely embroidery pattern came from one of my 100's of magazines that I seem to be addicted to buying. The instructions were fabulous making it reasonably easy to make

scotts embroidery



This very different little wall hanging was done by my 22 year old son Scott. Scott was watching me embroidery and declared " thats easy, I can do that". After showing him how to stem stitch, he drew these graffiti images on calico and did this! I must say I was amazed that this big burley lad could do something as delicate as embroidery. Once he was finished I combined the peices to make this wall hanging. I just need to finish it now
