making my own stationary

Today I cut up strips of fabric, used two sided tape to attach it to A4 paper. Then I added some buttons and colour photocopied them to make this lovely stationary.
Next I am going to print recipes, patterns, home remedies etc on it. Once that is done I will laminate and include in gifts to family and friends

What a great idea! This would also work well for a quilt journal by using the fabrics and notions that were used.

Love the stationery! So creative! I will have to try that, too!

I'm visiting from Swap-bot, the Potholder exchange for next month. I had to "doctor" your blog address a bit, however. I don't know if you meant to type it or if it was a typo, but in your profile, where you have your URL, the @ symbol before "blogspot.com" should be a period. In other words, greenfingers_sue.blogspot.com instead of greenfingers-sue@blogspot.com. :) Thought you might like to know so more people could easily visit your blog! :)

I'm glad to have found your blog. I like it. :) Maybe you could start a "handmade stationery" swap over at swap-bot?

Cute idea on the stationary. How is it coming laminating and putting recipes on them? Would love to see the final product.

Thank you very much for the truly kind comment you let on my last post. I wouldn't have done the swap without Rebecca....I'm too shy to get things going on my own, but like you I've enjoyed getting to know everyone and making new friends as well as spurring the creative juices again in me. Thank YOU for participating!
